| I have this model of Roomba (Roomba 4210 White) and just love it. If you have a an apartment and want to make your life easier, I highly recommend it. Works seamlessly on carpet to wood to tile, rarely complains and never wants a raise. I just put mine on when Im doing the dishes and before I know it, the whole place is spotless. Just remember to clean it regularly, it will increase the life of your product. |
Remanufactured, but was in pristine condition

I bought a roomba last year at this time, it was also a remanufactured roomba and I made the mistake of running it without the filter in (big no no!!!) and it clogged up badly, never to recover. In an effort to revive it I took it apart piece by piece and discovered that in my remanufactured roomba that about half of the screws were missing inside, which over time would have caused it to accumulate dust and die soon anyway.
So, with this new one I promptly disassembled it and found it to be in pristine condition, and the exterior didn't even have a scratch on it. I believe this to be an unused customer return.
The moral of this long story is that if you buy a remanufactured roomba to be sure to check it out thoroughly. If it appears to be well-used, send it back. If it's pristine and works perfectly, then you've just saved yourself 50%.
Regarding this particular roomba, it's built the same and works the same as my last one, and luckily the back-up supplies and battery from the old roomba work in this one, so now I have 2 batteries, extra filters, brushes, and an additional virtual wall.
This roomba came with 2 virtual walls, which will require a total of 4 size D batteries to work. I run the roomba everyday and it keeps my floors extra clean. This one is very good at detangling itself from my floor length curtains, and even removing itself from one spot on the corner of my area rug that turns up a bit. It goes under my sofa, coffee table, under tables and chairs with no problem. Despite some initial work, such as emptying the dust bin and removing debris from the brushes, it takes far less time and does a more effective clean than a traditional vacuum because it gets under everything and around things that I would otherwise have to move.
I really recommend this if you hate to vacuum and like to keep your floors clean. |
