Turn Power switch to the Off position. 2. Be sure dust bin is empty, then place Roomba upside down(with cleaning brushes showing) on a flat surface. 3. Guide the Battery Pack into the battery compartment using your index fingers(as shown). The Battery Pack will click into place when properly seated in Roomba. How to remove the old battery pack 1. Repeat Steps 1 & 2 from above. 2. The battery works with my 4100 model series Roomba and it cost half of what I would pay if ordered through iRobot. Now I'm curious to see how long this battery lasts because, as everyone knows, the expensive ones from iRobot last less than a year.
